In recent years, there has been a steady progression towards a modern contemporary look in kitchens and bathroom design - especially along the east cost.

One of the hallmarks of this trend is a 'white on white' look that has traditionally presented problems for designers and contractors alike since white surface products such as Thassos Glass and formica scratch and chip and can end up looking worn and for all intents and purposes, shoddy and cheap after only a few years of use. Crystallized glass seemed to be the solution to this fabrication nightmare but alas, contractors complained that it was hard to fabricate and install. Avraham Levy saw a need in the market for a white product that was durable and versatile; so he searched Asia for an alternative to traditional glass.

What he found was remarkable. Crystal Stone's Milky is a completely non-porous glass based surface that incorporates limestone into the mix giving it a soft pure white color and making it extremely durable and pressure withstanding. However, the proof is in the pudding, or in the way it fabricates, rather. Avraham, knowing that the material was only as good as fabricators and contractors say it was (white glass' biggest critics) launched an aggressive marketing campaign directed at fabrication shops. They loved what they saw. The material is a dream to work with. It can be cut on a bridge saw and its edging options are limitless. It fabricates just like marble or granite: using the same machinery and blades!

After the success of Milky, Avraham introduced the Jade Collection which is now available in 14 beautiful colors and offers a clean, contemporary look. All of Crystal Stone's products are completely inert - they do not emit any chemicals or radioactive gases and once polished they do not need to be sealed with chemicals. Our products maintain their everlasting shine forever and we stand behind that guarantee.
